A commission for . His girlfriend has been playing the Pokemon Nuzlocke challenge, and Ferdinand the Butterfree was one of the first Pokemon she caught. Sadly he finally fell against Lance of the Elite Four. From what I've heard, it was a pretty awesome Butterfree and a very important part of the team! He may be gone, but he certainly won't be forgotten!

In the Nuzlocke challenge, when a Pokemon faints, they are considered "dead" and you can never reuse them.

This reminds me so much of the old episode during the first season of Pokemon where Ash let his Butterfree go. Such a welcomed addition to the team. I must admit, in my last playthrough I brought Butterfree all the way to the Elite Four. Such a reliable Pokemon, putting everyone to sleep only to eat their dreams seconds later.
"Bye Bye Butterfree" was it? Gah...
