I re-did and added to
THIS deviation now that I had some me-time while everyone in the house is asleep and my cousins aren't nagging me to play with them like before. Looks a lot better, I think. 
Can't wait to see my girlie J again.Character FYI:
This is J-wolf (female) in her form that shows her suffering. Bloody bandages around her knees and fore-limbs symbolize the physical, mental, and emotional pain that my real friend J endures. When I draw her in this form from now on, she won't be in the standing position. She has wings which are meant to keep her off her painful limbs, but are too small for her to truly fly, so she lies down and sometimes sits.

This piece is so elegant; I'm especially impressed with those wings. Sure wings are fun to draw, but coloring them...:shudder: I can see the pain-staking work you put into this piece, tis beautiful.

I really like the stark contrasts you put into this, and the way you bloodied the bandages, and the paws, and
the fur... I can't stop staring at the fur... it looks so real! If somebody incorporated that fur into a photo I swear to god I wouldn't realize it.
In other words, pretty much everything. I also see that you've applied the wings technique here, with awesome results. =]8D
As for J, my deepest sympathies go out to her. I almost don't want to know what happened to her that she's suffering so badly.

This is absolutely GORGEOUS. I love the overall tone of the image, it really gives it a great mood and feeling partnered with the heavy shading (especially love the shading on the wings). The wings blow me away- all the detail and their excellent anatomy. All the textures and the gentle face are so beautiful. This is wonderful, absolutely fantastic job <3
