Home: EarthHerd territory
Personality: Darkthorn is a natural born leader. Others tend to gravitate towards him to lead. He does occasionally make rash decisions, but he always keeps his herd in mind. He’s very proud and defendant of his herd and can get a bit hot headed about this. He overreacts to an insult to his herd or family often and jumps to defend it.

He’s an excellent fighter, one of EarthHerd’s best and is often chosen to lead attacks as well as form them. He’s second in command to the herd as well as the lead fighter. He does have a temper, but would never hurt his family, only his enemies. Often he’s impatient but he does have a good side. He is very caring for his family as well as loyal to his herd.
History: Originally born into FireHerd, Darkthorn only spent a short time there. He was trained under the current leader and his father, Ashenstar, who taught him most of his fighting techniques. Ashenstar was and still remains one of the best warriors the herds have ever seen.

When he had finished his training and earned his warrior name, Ashenstar banished Darkthorn from the herd. He was confused and refused to leave. When he proved to be defiant, Ashenstar chased his son from FireHerd territory. Darkthorn spent about a year living as a loner before the sounds of battle lured him to a fight between EarthHerd and FireHerd. EarthHerd was losing, and if they did FireHerd would gain their territory. Darkthorn felt more sympathetic for EarthHerd when he saw Ashenstar was leading the raid. He fought on their side and was then officially rejected by his father, and Darkthorn fully defied him and declared his allegiance now laid with EarthHerd. They turned their backs on each other.

Darkthorn worked hard to become accepted in EarthHerd and hid the fact that he was able to control the element of fire, as well as that of earth. He had done the same when in FireHerd, hiding his control over the earth element. He proved a valuable fighter and quickly rose in the ranks despite his low start.

He’s now admired and respected by many of the herd. He found his soul mate in Bluestar, their current leader.

Well, here's Darkthorn's reference! I'm working on some for all my characters, but it's going to take a while! I only drew one side of him because the other side is the same minus the rose on his neck
