Merry Christmas!!!! I decided to make a quick MMD Christmas scene in Blender since I haven't been doing any drawings for Christmas. I made this in three days, so it could be better but I wanted to finish it on time lol. I found a Christmas themed stage I liked, and I used my Snowman Kaito model I've had for a while and I found a sky. It took me forever to find a sky I liked XD It just started snowing so Kaito is trying to catch some snowflakes in his hand XD

If you remember the Christmas drawing I did of Kaito a couple of years ago I used the same pose from it for this. Here is the drawing Snow Kaito . For the snow I used two particle systems and had one be big and the other small and directly over Kaito to create more snow. I used an emission shader on the snowflakes on Kaito's hair and the highlights in his eyes, and on the lights and city in the background. I also made the sky an environment texture. For the lights I have six lamps, a sun lamp, two area lamps, and three point lamps. For compositing I used blur and glare nodes on Kaito, the snow, and the stage. I also did just one little edit in Photoshop to get rid of one snowflake on his face so it would look better. I had trouble with getting the light to shine on the whites of his eyes and I ended up changing the MixRGB color node from multiply to add which seemed to work since I couldn't figure out any other way to fix it ^^

Render Samples: 200 with denoising
Render Time: 15 minutes and 29 seconds
Resolution set to 50%
