Yeah I watched the movie. It was better than I expected it to be and Tempest wasn't as 1-dimensional as I expected her to be lol. I went in with a very low bar to beat and I was genuinely impressed, dunno if it's because I had a low bar or because it's a good movie but

But, the Storm King was very weak as a villain, I feel like he was totally half-assed and I was very disappointed in him. Granted Tempest herself was already a good enough villain that they can be pardoned for not trying as hard with him. But I feel like all of his power resided with Tempest, she seemed to be the only reason that he was formidable until he got that staff, even then he was too easily defeated lol.

And that fallout between the mane six...just...ugh! I feel like they really backstabbed Twilight's character development with that scene. Don't get me wrong, it made me cry, and I really understood the reasons and necessity for it to happen. But I feel like if they kept true to Twilight's meticulous character development it never would have happened.
Other than that, music was good, characters were good, and I enjoyed it. Pinkie's character was sensational and I don't think I've ever liked her more. Plus...Sia...can't go wrong there.
