Description
This episode begins with Akira waking up in the morning with the help of many alarm clocks lined up to his own clock, only to blow out more clocks, thus waking both him and Miki up. He then reveals that it is the delayed 40th anniversary since the Devilman anime was officially opened. He then remembered the first time he, and by he i mean Amon, took over Akira's body and fended off against Zennon's demon minions and he apparently loved it, even though Akira himself was dead when he had it. He prepares himself by getting ready for school in various wacky ways. While we see Akira's getting ready process, the "Devilman 70s theme" can be heard and the whole 1970s opening came up. After the intro, Akira and Miki rushes all the way to the school via bike when they accidentally warp throuhg somewhere they didn't know they were heading bumps, and he knows that he cannot be late for this, but was curious about the cardboard-styled city.

As the act ends, Akira and Miki arrive at the Strings Attached Hotel where Miki was adorably squealing about how she and Akira traveled to a world that was inhabitable by puppets. and one of them (Emily) reminds her roomate (Carolyn) to keep a close eye on all of the doors, and entrances, including the air vents, to make sure that some demons (besides Akira (Devilman)) doesn't sneak in during the Devilman 40th anniversary celebration. which confused them to know why they knew Akira was here. cause of the.....they knew he was gonna be here cause of his celebration. Meanwhile, back at Earth, Himmler spoke with his puppet compainon, Jacquliene, about how he has been a rival-ish screw-up for 41 years of his life, while Akira has been nothing but outgrown of his pride since he saved a lot of lives. In order to redeem himself and finally get the drop on Akira, Himmler decides that he'll sneak in closer to Akira while he and Miki are distracted by the festivities, and snag his demon to death.

Returning to Puppetopolis, Amanda Ling decides to put Emily and Carolyn in charge of decorating the hotel. Caroyln reminds Amanda what had happened the other time she and Emily got to decorate (which then cuts to a flashback of Emily and Carolyn's former decorating failure), but this time she was going to use the resources that he already had in the hotel. Meanwhile, Tare (Maki's brother) had been hired by Amanda as security. They then went to the freezer to see the ice sculpture Emily had made for Devilman (Akira). After entering the freezer, the door accidentally gets locked behind them, thus trapping them. The six of them decide to warp through a portal in an effort to escape.

While they went outside the freeze via portal, Amanda finds a Devilman 1972 DVD. Akira then had a flashback of the first Devilman 1972 episode. Akira and the gang then go into the Strings Attached Hotel surveillance room. On many monitors, they see that many houses from different worlds were on camera. Amanda doesn't know why there are hidden cameras, although it is heavily referred that someone had to be responsible for them. At that very moment, it's revealed that Jacqueliene, that same puppet with Himmler was with before, was recording them from behind as they appear on one of the monitors, and diecides to tag along with them. Amanda then suggests that they split up to find any nearby demons trying to bust into the hotel. Amanda goes it alone while the other six stick together. thus resulting the teams in Akira, Emily, and Jacquiliene on one team, and Miki, Tare, and Carolyn on the other team. Ultimately they just end up all together again a few moments later. Meanwhile, Mugaruu had reached the Strings Attached Hotel and was searching through the rooms to find a way to the Akira, but he was having no such luck.

Back with the gang, Miki remembers the time that Akira had first told her he wasn't really Akira other than Amon. Himmler leans in, in an attempt to find out how Zennon was still alive but the Akira in the flashback hears this outcome and ragingly grabs Himmler and throws him out the hotel. Amanda's hand-mirror then begins going crazy over all of the loose time she had over her vanity she wasn't haiving time on. so she checked and sees that she still had her beauty even if she was panicked. Carolyn then pulls out a radio transmitter he had taken from Ryo. They then attempt to call Ryo himself and have him come rescue them but Tare destroys the transmitter after he thinks that Ryo is trapped inside it. As Akira then remembers the time that he and Miki got married through a flashback, only for it to be revealed that the whole thing was just a play. (confusing moment, i know)

Back on Earth, Zennon then warps to Earth chastising Rerasu and Daruni for not doing his job in keeping them in line, also for knowing that Akira was located in Puppetopolis and attempts to open a portal for him as a trap. Returning to the gang, at this point, Akira noticed that one of Zennon's minions locked him and Miki when they first went in the hotel and had decided to use a battering ram to break through the door. After several tries, the gang bust through only to discover that Zennon was waiting for Akira who was revealed to be his demon pawn, Amon. Miki becomes heartbroken about Akira being formerly affiliated by his threat and believes the anniversary to be ruined, which angers Akira, who then turned into Amon immensely as they are the same people he's protecting and its his decision how to live amongst them, finally standing up to Zennon and fighting back as the people who thought the boy named Akira Fudo was once dead were supporting him all the way through the fight. after the fight, Akira was then telling Zennon he doesn't have the right to tell him how to do his job and tell him to back off and stop breathing down his neck. An angry Zennon states to Akira he may have thwarted his whole conquest plan this time, but the next plan they make won't fail. He then states Akira will pay when he’s actually 40. after that, the celebration is ready to begin on both worlds.

Ryo also goes after Carolyn who took his transmitter. Meanwhile, Himmler, on the other hand, was discovered by Akira and was tied up like a pretzel after he pleads with him not to launch him. Ryo then asks Tare to chases Carolyn who turns out to be the same kid who busted his transmitter after Tare's mistake. He then chases after both Tare and Carolyn after realizing both things. Miki ends the episode wishing Akira a happy late 40th anniversary.

Liam O' Brien as Zennon: a cruel and spiteful demon, he abhorred the human race and vowed to exterminate them. He also took pleasure in hurting or simply killing any demon that questioned his ideas.
Roger Craig Smilth as Iwao Himura (Himmler): He was sent to assist Zannin and his demon subordinates on Zennon's orders, and led several attempts to try to defeat Devilman (Amon).
Rob Paulsen as Rerasu: a massive plant demon from the very first episode of the original Devilman anime. He was summoned by the leader of the Demon Tribe Zennon along with Devilman (Amon) and Daruni.
Bill Fagerbakke as Daruni: one of Zennon three bodyguards and was a minor antagonist in the very first episode of the Devilman anime series.
Hannibal Buress as Tare Makimura: Miki's younger brother (weird request for a casting idea, i know)
