SilverClaw panted as he watched the last of the rogues running off. His legs ached, his mouth filled with horrible blood and he was finally beginning to feel his wounds.
"SilverClaw!" His mate yelped as she ran to him with three of her kits chasing behind her.
"Wheres BatKit and MouseKit?" The silver warrior asked worriedly, not seeing the two shy kits nearby, he had been protecting the nursery with all his might and was sure that no rogue had gotten past.
"They're inside, don't worry" StreamTail looked at his ear " You have a rip in you ear!" she told him, concerned.
"I do?" SilverClaw glanced up, he could definitely feel it. "How wonderful.."

"Daddy are you all right?"

The injured warrior looked at his kits who examined him worriedly, he flattened his ears but winced as he did, how horrible it must be to see your father in such a mess. Blood stained his pelt, a mixture of his and others. It must be especially horrible to see blood dripping from his mouth aswell. He looked down at his bloodstained claws and sheathed them "How wonderful indeed..." he muttered sarcastically.
