Description
"Hello… is anyone there?" I thought to myself as I was trapped in my own dream.
I looked around. There was nothing but darkness. Suddenly there was an ear piercing scream.
"Where are you? Are you okay?" I tried to go in the direction I heard the scream.
I heard another scream coming in the opposite direction. I turned my head. Just then two more screams could be heard. I tried to cover my ears but they were to large. I was hearing everything around me. Two screams became four. Four screams became eight until there was continuous screaming. I tried to run away but you can only go so far in pitch black darkness. I saw a door so I ran in thinking it was an exit. Instead I was transported into a grassy meadow. All the screaming has stopped instead replaced by a calm wind. There was a lucario and a riolu climbing up a grassy hill. I followed them. I started to notice a buzzing noise and noticed the lucario and riolu have stopped. The lucario stooped down by his son the riolu. He whispered something but I was still able to hear it.
"When I say run you run and whatever you do, do not look back. Understood?"
I saw the happy riolu's expression quickly turn to fear and curiosity as he nodded. Just then in a forest at the top of the mountain a beedril flew out.
"Run" the lucario shouted.
All three of us turned around and started sprinting down the mountain. Not ever looking back. We ran for a while until we were certain that we couldn't here buzzing anymore. I turned around and looked behind me. There was a riolu trying to catch his breath.
"Close call dad" he said.
He turned around. He noticed the lucario wasn't around anymore.
"Dad?" He said a again much louder.
He got up and started to look around
"DAD" he shouted out but he got no response.
He started to sniffle and tears started to go down his face. He risked climbing up the hill to look for his dad hoping he was okay. Instead he saw an unmoving corpse surrounded by a swarm of beedrils. He collapsed on the floor. And started to sob. I was following and watching the whole thing. I knew I was in a dream so I knew I couldn't do anything to help. After awhile he stood up. He put his hands together and a blue orb of light started to form. I was beginning to know what he was doing. I tried to dash in front of him to stop him. But I was in a dream I knew I couldn't do anything. Just then he riolu said something like it was directed at me.
"Get out of my way" he said still charging the orb.
Knowing that I can actually do something. I started walking to him.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY or I'll blast you too."
I didn't go anywhere.
"Suit yourself" he said.
He fired and I flinched but the orb went through me.
It hit the beedrils below, angering them. They started to fly towards the riolu. His face started to turn into terror as a swarm of beedrils started to come after him. He through another blue orb and decided to make a run for it. He got far but then he tripped on a rock. He landed on the floor and crouched up into a tight ball. The swarm surrounded him. They started to poke him with their stinger. He screamed in pain for every poke until he passed out from the poison. I was just standing on the same hill watching this madness. I couldn't stop the riolu and now he is dead. I tried to crouch into a ball like the riolu to disappear. I started crying like as if the lucario was my dad and the riolu was my brother. Just then everything froze I walked away a little bit relieved of the emotional pain. I looked at the spot the where I was trying to crouch in a ball and I saw another riolu. I was dreaming I was that riolu. Everything went dark and the screaming continued. Then everything stopped and I saw a bright glow.
"Hey Xeon, where are you" I heard it say. It had the voice of Yachi.
"I am in a forest. I have been frozen in ice by Frost. Go tell Pike." I was able to remember Frost freezing my entire body just so I won't reveal her secret.
"Speak to me" it was like she couldn't hear me.
"Help me I'm in the forest just outside of town" I tried again.
The light flickered off.
"They can't hear me. What do I do?" I said to myself.
I noticed a dim blue light shine.
"Hello Xeon. how's it going" it was Frost's voice.
"Frost, let me out" I said.
"Before you try to say anything I'll tell you that I put a spell on the ice around you. You aren't able to communicate to anyone outside. I'm sorry if this sounds really extreme but I can't have my identity revealed. That is why your here. I am actually quite shamed that I would have to react like this but I can't do anything else."
Then the blue light faded out as well. It left a blue book behind. I decided to go over and investigate it. Nothing was on the cover. I opened the book to page one and started reading the prologue. My dream was in darkness but the book seemed to glow enough to see words in it. From what I read in the prologue it was about Zero or Frost. It kept on saying she used to be a great adventurer but has quit for some reason. Something bad must have happened.
I continued reading on through the pages. A little later, the obnoxious screams from before started again. I looked around. There was nothing around. I was alone in the dark with creepy sounds all around me. I closed the book, grabbed it in my mouth, and ran. It was hard to run with a big book in my mouth but the fact I was in a dream didn't make it too hard. Wherever I ran the screams persisted so I decided to just stop and read the book. I was afraid the screams would materialize but that's all it happened to do, scream.

Prologue

I am zero and I am retiring from my adventures. I have become a great explorer but the debt to explore is way to high. To all other adventurers interested I have written this diary for you to educate yourself. You will soon learn why I gave up and retired and why (if I do) I disappeared. My stories fill me with horrid memories again so if any part of this book is not written in it could be an emotional breakdown from me. First thing first I wasn't always a glaceon. I was a creature in an alternative world with tons like me. They walked on two legs, they drove giant machine that can transport them from one place to another, they made many discoveries on there world (much of which may exist in your world too), and made stuff called art. They were called humans. I was a human once but somehow I became what I am now. As I lived life here knowing about my older life and knowing I may never go back, I swore to protect the Pokemon world from an apocalyptic event. There were many sacrifices. Much of them dear to me. But I managed to stop the Worlds Burn. Well let's get on with it.
