Hey,
I don't quite understand the terms and conditions for these patterns.... am I allowed to use it for a social profile layout (i.e. like myspace)... just as a background and then code it? And am I allowed to turn the pattern black and white for the layout? (the layout would then be offered to some friends to also use, etc etc)

you can use it however you want, and change it too, but you can't offer it to other people as it's considered as redistribution ^^
