I had planned to someday. My niece is hoping too move back to Minnesota in a year or two. Maybe by then I will have time and can borrow it. Ok, I took pictures from many angles. But still, time. Good thing I gave up sleeping!

I still sleep, but I did give up having any sort of regular sleeping schedule.  lol
I can't help but think there's gotta be a pin on pinterest with a close pattern.

It it's a very basic pattern for amigurumi. Basically two balls. The stitch count for the colors should be fairly easy. The ears are easy( though not so easy to actually crochet). The trail should be easy, too.

So, for the first time in over two weeks I got two good night's sleep back to back! I don't feel like I'm in such a fog any more. Ready to start the crazy again! Part of the lack of sleep was going down with Tim so I could see mom and Joe. Can't remember how much I've gotten to tell you, so quick summary. The transitional care people thought mom had a stroke so they sent her to the emergency room. The low hemoglobin count was because of an ulcer and it was bleeding, again. She was just really weak. The vascular specialist thought she was having a seizure, because she quit answering people after she answered the same questions 5 times in 20 minutes. So he put her on stronger anti seizure meds. She was on Depacote because of tremors, not seizures. They totally knocked her out. Jim talked to her regular doctor when he got back from his vacation. They took her off both of them. She is back at transitional care and the difference without those meds is so amazing! She hasn't been this good since they put her on the Depacote. She is getting her strength back. She can stand with just a little assistance. It's wonderful!
Joe had an infected toe for a long time. Kept trying to convince us that it was just toe fungus and would run it's course. I never saw it but kept asking if he had seen the doctor. He lied and said he had seen them. They did, but not about that and he never mentioned it. The infection was so bad when he finally did go in that his toe was turning black and bone was being destroyed. They had to amputate part of the toe to keep the infection from getting into his blood. If it had, they would have had to replace the LVAD and the titanium screws in his shoulder. They took the end of his toe to just below the nail and just above the joint. He will be on 2 IV antibiotics for 6 to 8 weeks. He is at the transitional care unit at the university. Upside- He has to stick to his modified carb, low sodium, fat and cholesterol diet and work out. He may get on the transplant list, yet!
As a result, I've been going down with Tim a bunch. Oy! Then there was a dentist appointment and the doctor's appointment for the pain from the fall. And various other early morning adventures. Sorry, that got really long.

No worries ~ you can share whatever you like.  Sounds like your life
can get pretty intense with everything your family is going through.

And the news with your Mom is awesome - how is it that being taken off
a medicine can help so much?

And your brother, no choice on cheating on his diet in transitional care?
Ah, sounds like a good thing for him.

On the up side, Storm is being a really good mom so far, so I don't think I'll be taking in any kittens. Lol!

Yeah, I never understood drugs where the side effects are worse than the problem. Makes no sense.
We took cupcakes for Joe's birthday last weekend. We got it approved by the nurse and he could only have one. He was trying to convince us his weight gain the six months was because of the couple of days of antibiotics, not a half year of fast food. When he starts dropping weight how is he going to explain that? Lol. I will have to make sure to point the weight loss every time I see him. I'm evil!

That's good to hear, Storm taking to motherhood.

All those commercials on TV for minor complaints, 'Oh so you have dry mouth?  Take 'Weird-funked-up-medicine-name' and never have dry mouth again!'
small print - may cause deafness, your nose to rot and a mushroom to sprout of our eyelids, death and/or paralysis

lmao, a couple days of antibiotics caused six months of weight gain?  He's voting Trump, yeah?  Deluded.
