:: The Perfect Storm part 1 ::shot the other night during a kick ass storm...was on my roof with my tripod...not the safest place to be in a storm but it was worth it
exposure of 1 sec...minor adjustments in PS

It looks so sharp and smooth and GODLY amongst the grey sky!
I wonder what the pic would have looked like if you were getting electricuted by the lightning when you took it

yeah one of the other ones in the series is a bit brighter...mainly coz it was much closer...after that one i bailed pretty quickly

damn cheap digital that i have got, and i can't afford a conventional or even a digital SLR - so there is no chance for me to take images that are good quality at the moment, but i am thinking of getting a tripod.

yeah i took quite a few...a lot didnt have any lightning in them...but i managed to refine a technique

yeah it took a while to find a way to get them right...i just waited for the big ones...then the one sec exposure took care of the rest
