Remember this redesign of Orko I drew just for the fun of it?

Welp, brain kicked into overdrive again and I've started to form my own silly MOTU AU, which can be best described as my own stupid take on that universe. I admit to being most invested in developing Orko and his home world of Trolla, since there isn't much, but I am thinking of and sketching out the other stuff in that universe, like, y'know, He-Man. But I digress.

Here's Orko's girlfriend, Dree Elle.
Daughter of Seagg, Keeper of Artifacts, and Kyren, a healer, and has a little brother, Yuka (name changed because I can't stand the name Yukkers).

Growing up in a mountain town on Trolla, she led a peaceful life as a song mage, a type of magic user that casts spells through song. She has memorized a great number of songs for any situation, though she rarely used the songs that bring curses or hurt others, being a kind soul. She typically helped organize events around town, helped her parents with their respective jobs (hence she knows a lot about history and culture, and about medicine), and looked after the children in town (especially her mischievous brother), telling stories and teaching them songs. She was perfectly content with this life.

And then her life turns upside-down when she's spirited away to the planet Etheria in the dimension Despondos, captured by the Horde in her efforts to assist the Rebellion, and is forced to sing her song spells by Shadow Weaver as an extra act of oppression against Etherians by the Horde. She had no idea how long she was prisoner, she lost track of days and was sure she was losing her mind when one day, Orko the Great (who everyone on Trolla had thought was dead) suddenly appeared. While he was on a mission to save a friend who got captured during the Horde's invasion of Eternia, he decided to break her out too.

(They ended up recaptured, though Orko managed to free his friend Adam. Eventually, He-Man--and his new friend, She-Ra--rescued them and kicked the Horde back to Despondos.)

Now on Eternia, Dree Elle took some time to recover from her experiences. She was grateful that so much love and support came her way from the Eternians--especially Orko, who wanted to make absolutely sure that she felt safe and comfortable, and that she had something to do around Eternos when she wanted some kind of job to do. Orko was excited to have another Trollan around, but it was also obvious that he was smitten with her. However, Dree Elle had to process her trauma and get used to her new life before she could reciprocate.

And eventually, she did.
