...wait, what do you mean that's not how you make Jack O'Lanterns?

So, I have a headcanon that Bushroot loves Halloween. Mainly for the reason that he can go out in the open and nobody would bat an eye, thinking it's a costume (though he sometimes gets criticized for his costume, i.e. "Your Bushroot costume is great, but your hair is the wrong color." "...my hair's not the wrong color!"), but I do also headcanon that he also enjoys some of what Halloween is about, usually expressing it through watching horror movies and reading horror novels, and decorating in his own unique way. Which brings us to the pumpkin here.

While as the fruit of the plant a pumpkin is expendable (he's literally used them and other fruits as ammo), chances are carving a Jack O'Lantern might still be a little uncomfortable for him. So, why not genetically engineer a pumpkin to grow a face and glow in the dark? He grew money trees, this should be a piece of cake.

It's kind of fun drawing him so enthusiastic.
