So, yeah, basically, it's a music battle between the Flim Flam Brothers and Cheese Sandwich. Oh, yeah, and that OC brother I created for Cheese, Tomato. Yes, he can sing, and Cheese needed a partner because it's a duet battle (and Pinkie's not there; sorry, guys).
Hey, if you were Flim or Flam, you'd stare if your opponent rolled in a giant cheese wheel from nowhere.

Well, the reason she's not there? First off, this is from a fan fiction. The fic is called Brotherly Bonding Time, so even though there are CheesePie hints in the story, it's not the focus.
Second, this battle doesn't even take place in Ponyville! And given that the town, Halterside, has no friendship problem, no relatives of any of the Mane Six, or is even big enough for any big important events of interest to out-of-towners, Pinkie has no reason to even be there.
So while Pinkie would have been the better choice, the fact is that she's just not there, and if she was, it'd make little sense within the context of the story.
