Here's the guardian of the Super Rodent Squad , Anna Merrimouser! And her two-year-old twins, Tootsie and Boots.

A widowed mouse already dealing with a mutant son (Apple) and a pair of mischievous twins, her world turned upside-down (well, even more than it already was since her husband's death) when her grandparents, who owned a group home of children that no one else wanted, suddenly passed away and left the home to her in their will. She soon learned why they trusted her to look after these unwanted orphans--not just because she has experience in dealing with rowdy kids (both in her home and professional life), but dealing with superpowers as well, as all six of the kids had them. Though the task was daunting, she not only took charge of the home, but fully committed herself to be a foster mom. It was quite a challenge, proving herself a good guardian to social workers while also letting the kids be a superhero team for the city of Gnawpolis, but eventually she worked her way to officially adopting them. She was even involved in a custody battle for a young squirrel named Lucia (who is also a supercritter), whose biological family isn't exactly great.

At some point, the group home was destroyed in a battle between heroes and villains. Anna took the kids and went on to settle on a farm on the outskirts of town, working for the farmer who owned it (who didn't mind the kids helping out as long as they didn't break anything) and even having their own house on the property. For the frustration that a bunch of superpowered kids who are all different personalities and species gives her, she loves them all, both the biological and adopted kids, and she'll be darned if she doesn't try to raise and teach them properly. There's a reason why she's considered the toughest citizen of Gnawpolis.

As for the twins, they're a couple of mischievous toddlers, getting into trouble and getting on the nerves of their older siblings. Tootsie is a typical little girl, liking stuffed animals, dress up, and tea parties, while Boots is a typical little boy, with a love for toy cars, roughhousing, and superheroes. They are awed by how their big siblings are superheroes and want to be like them (there is a running joke in the house that they already have powers--Tootsie's being her smelly diapers, Boots being his amazing shin-kicking ability, and both's ability to reach high volume during temper tantrums).

All in all, they make a big, loving family.
