Description
Alright, so to be fair this is my absolute first ever attempt at plushing, and since that's the case I'm really quite proud of her. She may be a bit understuffed, and her head may be a bit lopsided, but all in all I love her. Already as I work on my second pony I know I am improving and even know a few things to do differently next time. Hopefully I will be as good as I hope to be one day
Also she really does look better in person, I had to take the pictures on my phone since cameras hate me for some reason I really really don't understand. They love my sister tho!
This is not my own pattern but made by

Thank you! Yeah I had to keep looking at the ones other great plush makers made for their first time to keep me inspire. I'm really happy with her. I am working on a Luna with removable accessories right now and she is definitely proving to be a bit more difficult!

Haha I'm excited to start working on more too. Right now I am working on a Luna with all removable regalia for a surprise present for a friend of mine and then I plan on making a Jolteon for myself. I also want to finish a pattern of my own before I make the winner of the giveaway's pony, but if I don't have time I may make it in the pattern I am using currently. Haven't decided yet.

Luna!! How cute! I am so excited to see her! And a little Jolteon! How exciting. You seem rather busy xD So much to do, so little time.

Wow, going for minky on your first go is pretty hardcore. It's not a very forgiving fabric.

Haha yeah, definitely learned that! Went through like two yards of lavender I really didn't want to work with anything else tho, I just really like how plushies look in minky, and I guess I never even considered using felt or fleece or something.

Well, felt is like the worst thing to use in almost anything. d: fleece is good for practice, but sometimes the stretch makes parts bulge out. Minky is the best I've seen, but like I said, it's difficult to learn with.
(I too started with lavender and it's the only fabric I've had to restock 3 times d

Hahah yeah, I bought some fleece from walmart to use for pattern testing, but I haven't gotten around to actually creating a pattern yet so But yeah, despite all the issues I've had with minky I know it is just user error and I will get better with it eventually. Plus there is part of it that makes me feel like I don't have to learn all over again when I switched to minky. Yeah I have to restock it a lot too, thankfully a store in town carries the lavendar so thats something I guess.

Haha all my local Jo-Ann's carries in minky is this low quality stuff in like 3 colors or the dotted kind that I really dislike. I would seriously kill for the good lavender kind in stores, that's the most important color to me d:
