thanks bunches! i'm trying to learn how to do different things with them, mainly shading, but they do look pretty cool on this one. there will be more to come!

Wow, very naise you both! love the colors. Do you think you can combine these
crayons with soft pastel? If so, we could do a collab one day

thanks dearie! but of course! hehe
i have soft pastels, too. i should use them more often. i'm not all that great using them, but i could practice! they're groovy on that brown kraft paper i have. i tried using them both together and it works well. they crayons are a lot nicer, since they're made of clay. who knows what soft pastels are made of? do you?
omg, i owe you a package!!!! i'm so sorry, i totally forgot! i'll start making some first halves today! i'll do something with the crayons, perhaps on the velour paper, so you can try it out, too.
omg again, my fucking printer ran out of two kinds of toner yesterday! we saved the new cartridges from the old printer since this one takes the same kind. most of those cartridges are quite full. i'll have to get peter to put them in. i couldn't believe it! i've been using it lots and lots, but i didn't realize it was that much!!!!

oh no, not that fucking printer again..
I didn't mean you owe me a package, but I'm not against it
I mean sending you something in soft pastel, and you finish it with with your russians
Anyway, we'll see who send who something, doesn't matter, collabs matter
I think there's different soft pencils, it's compressed chalk or clay with pigments. if oil is added you have oil pastel I guess..
I think the russians have great organic pigments. very earthy colors,,

ohhh noooo i didn't mean it that way, i meant, i was going to get it together and forgot, it's just a phrase...owe you...like i was gonna do something for you, but forgot for a little while. no negative connotations!
i think i said last week that i was just about to get some collab stuff ready to send and then it slipped my mind. i want to do it!
maybe i'll send you something with soft pastels and something else with the sauce. i'm not all that great at using either of them... but i'll give it a try. don't laugh! hehe
did you see i announced the contest!

I thought you said because you thought I said.. ah fuck it negative connotations, never
Well would be great anyway. I'd like a taste of your russian sauce! and (hint, hint) I SO
loved our 'schizo mountains' kinda shit!!
I'm busy with b&w soft pastel right now, I'm covered in it
Yes I did see the journal now, cool! will be great fir sure!

haha it's probably my appallingly dense sense of humor. lol
pour a little russian on it baby! i'll have to practice a little, i really can't do much with them yet!
schizomountain coming up. maybe i'll make lots and you can pick and choose or maybe i'll make one or two fab ones. or maybe or maybe...
i want to use the crayons on that kraft paper i've been using. the color is perfect and it has such awesome tooth. i have some black velour paper too.... badusev said that you can use the sauce crayons on wet paper. maybe you saw that, i think it might have been in an s and s comment thingy maginkie.i tried that on the kraft paper and it was a disaster. i'm pretty sure it was that that paper can't take any wet media.
oh i know all those different kinds of crayons and charcoal and pastels are such an amazing mess! i get it on my face, on the monitor. srsly. lol
do you put fixative on yours?

thanks so much richard! i laugh with my husband about me making ugly art. haha i do make ugly art sometimes, like this one. but i'm pleased with my ugly art, it seems more true to my heart. not that my heart is
gly, but that there are a lot of ugly feelings that need to get out. so, yay, they're on paper now.
markus is great to work with because his art is wild and free, like those lines with the russian sauce crayons. i made those because they fit in with his style.

what's going on with the voices? when do you start school?

thanks! i hoped you would like it, it seemed more your like your style. i've been looking forward to using that gray piece, and i finally thought of stuff to do with it.
it's cool and humid here. it's supposed to rain today which is a very rare thing here in the summer. we're in the middle of a big drought now so all the farmers are doing rain dances! hehe

yay! i'm making rubber stamp art! all the exclamation points, commas, question marks, the infinty symbol, periods!
i bought a set of rubber stamps that was the alphabet and 1-9 and some basic punctuation symbols.
they came in a nice old fashioned looking wood box. the whole thing seems antique.
do you have a river, lake, pond or something near there. i'm just interested in what your world is like.
there are mountains in the distance everywhere here. the trees are very different than the ones in the state i grew up in. it's weird, there are no natural lakes in it, and it's a pretty big state.
the flowers last through the winter. it's a lovely place to live.
do you like where you live?

7markus7 In reply to crazyruthie [2014-07-20 19:34:15 +0000 UTC]
nearest lake shore is few kilometres away - it´s huge lake and it´s shores circle everywhere in the county - it´s connected by
natural channels and short rivers to other lakes elsewhere . Lakes are everywhere in Finland .
i think it´s not so much different here from Michigan where you grew up , maybe colder in winter .
this is not bad place to live , but i´m bored , i have spend too much time here .

you're right, that sounds just like michigan. that's where my parents grew up and went to university at and then they moved to Missouri when i was a little baby. all my family is up there. we used to go there all the time, but i've separated myself from all my family other than my dad and stepmother and my husband.
there are lots of rivers in Missouri but that was the place with no lakes.
maybe you should move away, go somewhere more interesting, or at least different?

you have mentioned michigan earlier so i mistook that for a place where you grew up .
yeah , i have lived and traveled almost everywhere in Finland , maybe i should change country .

i wish i had grown up in michigan! lol
maybe you should go south.

7markus7 In reply to crazyruthie [2014-07-20 21:27:59 +0000 UTC]
south sounds fine .
but changing countries is expensive and lots of arrangements needs to be done .
i think it´s easier to change heads to avoid boredom .
i have been making some spare heads lately , maybe you have noticed .

i suppose going south within Finland wouldn't be much of a change! get married to someone who lives somewhere way south! or you could
go undercover and sneak around the world. you'd have to get lots of passports and visas!! you could be the head of an international crime ring!
i'm bored too. actually, it's more that i'm kind of pissed off and don't know what to do with myself.

Helsinki is much more lively place than rest of finland - i have been there too , but it´s expensive to live there , and i have seen it anyways .
international crime ring sounds good
but i think i rather become rich and famous with my art , get a lots of groupies and spend rest of my life changing countries
marriage may be a plan B

ahhh your plan A sounds even better than the crime ring. you could have all kinds of apprentices working for you. your art tours the world, so you could too!
