i've only been on a few bikes, as a passenger of course, i found it terrifying. i always think i'd like to be a biker chick but i would just be too much of a pussy to do it. lol
peter used to have a sport bike but he wiped out in some gravel on a street in san francisco late at night. he screwed up his shoulder permanently. i asked him to sell the bike. i know you had a terrible accident and got back on, i don't know what i'd do if he believed strongly in it. his injury was pretty minor, and it happened before i met him. i can't stand to have another way to obsess about him getting hurt.
i'm OCD and i get obsessive imagined fears. i've always been terrified that something is going to happen to him, it's a big world. people get hurt all the time. i couldn't stand it. when he had his gall bladder out i freaked out continuously. i stayed in his hospital room. i busted my ass to do anything i could to make it better. super scary. super super scary.

I can do alot of things.... I have taught myself many skills over the years... I've never had much money... living at or slightly above poverty level most of my life... so if something had to be done.. I just do it myself...
I love motorcycles... there is nothing like it... it is the single most satisfying form of transportation I know... its like hiking... its stops being about going from point a to point b... and becomes about the journey... its like flying... it delivers such a since of freedom that its hard to describe... I have been riding since I was a kid.. and I have had about 4 accidents.... once when I was a kid flipping over the bars of a little dirt bike... just scratches and bruises... once on a little bike as a teen on the street... the breaks went out and me and my ex wife crashed... no one got very hurt.... then a few years later on a fresh wet road... I slid all the way under a tractor trailer and came out the other side... just a limp and some scratches... then this last one where I avoided the accident, but tore my knee all to hell in the process... but all of that doesent matter... life is about experience for me... not about playing it safe or longevity... its always been about living.... not trying to stay alive... I dont have a death wish... I just wont let fear rule my life... not even a little bit... I have done some crazy stuff in my life... way more scary than riding a bike

haha the sleep was great. i cleaned every bit of that machine inside and out, cleaned the tubing and the mask the straps everything. it made it so much nicer last night. i guess i ought to do that more often!

i have so many things like that...i know that if i do if i do them i'll feel much better. they're not a ton of work, just stuff that i have a block about doing and it makes me feel crappy if i don't.
like the mask cleaning, i have a little rash on my arm that is super itchy if i don't put cream on it. it's super easy and fixes it perfectly, but i don't do it. i don't know why that happens.
