I'm noticing a theme here. It seems like all of Anna's friends or acquaintences have names that start with the letter "A", including Anna herself. Is there really a reason as to why that is, or is it just a mere coincidence?

It's literally just theming. I would guess it's a deliberate design choice as something to link the main characters together.
