I can see the pink floyd influence but haven't got much of a clue about metropolis - did your journal say it was turned into a book? I should try and read it if it is.

You should really watch it....it's all over the place, in fact you can get it for $4.61 + $2.98shipping at Amazon.com.... but I'm sure you can get it at your library to borrow for free. The first time I ever saw it a friend of ours had edited Wish You Were Here to match the movie...and it totally fits...(Wish You Were Here was already my fav Floyd by then....)

It's funny that you mention it...I was thinking about doing a book just last week, then my Susu mentioned it....have always wanted to do one, the problem is I'm pretty flighty when it comes to writing, and I end up turning a short story in to a behemoth project... so I'm in the process of looking for someone who knows something to co-author with me....

You know what...maybe we can do something in the future....but I'd hate to lead you on to a project that I would not be able to get far with(my life is in total turmoil now with the move to Maui)...but maybe we can work on things one piece at a time....if you like....I love to collaborate....but I seldom do....in fact...I haven't for years..

Right now we're in the process of getting a PO box in Wailuku....we got the box but it wont be activated until we show 2 forms of ID...hopefully we can do it on this side of the Pacific....at the moment they haven't given us a box number.

Thanx Drew...will be looking forward to work with you...I'll have alot of time to work on things on the flight.....there is an idea I edo want to work on...a book I started years ago that I never finished and want to start over...it's a humor piece called "The book of Phobias"... there is already a pop-up book called the Pop up Book of Phobias, but I can prove that I have had this idea first because I have the original version on file at The University of Green Bay.. ..if that doesn't interest you, we could work on something with poetry....I'll unzip your file tonight and see what you have...will get back to you soon...

You know what...why should this be only about my images...I think (if this seems like a good idea to you) our images would meld together perfectly in a book....but I', sure you're probably busy with your gallery and may have other commitments...let me know what you think....????
oh...btw...we're moving to Maui next month...I'm hoping theart community out there is less conservative than it is out here....but I'm thinking that's just the nature of art...let's face it....the majority of the art's community has always been fairly conservative...we just get fooled into thinking otherwise when we look at Art mags like Juxtapoz or ARTnews...ect...

It's not what you think, probably. My favorite flower is a weed called "Queen Anne's Lace," and since QueenAnnesLace was taken when I went to open some internet account or other, I did what any good gardener would do and pruned it to weedlace. Ta da!
And...have you considered posting the b/w of this piece? I for one am interested to see how it works in gray values and if I am just over-reacting to that horrid rusty blood color!

Queen Anne's Lace... love it, when we first bought this house the previous owners had all these flower gardens which I would pick for Susu and throw in some Queen Anne's Lace ....
