this was a benchmark piece for many years...i actually redid it few times too at later dates....i'll upload the 2004 inks-only & colour versions shortly.
my Oriental calligraphy was horrible! OMG!.... it translates (Chinese 'grass' style): hall full of precious things (gold,jade,hall,full).....as was my habit back then (kinda still is too) i scribbled one of my 'philosophical' quotes on the piece in pencil....
pen & ink, paint (kabuki mask), Crayola pencils, watercolour pencils & Steadtler markers.

Nice picture. It has a little too much empty space, no? Maybe you should crop it. Just my opinion.

was going to but then its too wide in relation to the length...i dunno just didn't like the balance....plus its just my OLD work so i'm not to bothered....
