SPOILER ALERT to those who have yet to read 's "9" fanfiction: "9U!" (Found here: jenny-jen.deviantart.com/galle… )It has been forever since I've drawn these dorks, and it has been a while since Jenny-Jen updated her '9U' story.
(Which I completely understand why that is, and therefor bare no grudge against her on the matter.)
So, what did the 9U cast do while on the hiatus?
As some may remember, 25 successfully kidnapped 21, thus engaging 9 and the others to go up to the surface world.
While waiting for the others to make their daring rescue attempt, 21 and 25 played cards. (Pocket edition no less!)
They've played poker, war, go fish, blackjack, and probably a few other card games to pass the time.
Although, after the 50th game of go fish in a row, you get pretty bored...
21: "These idling games are deadening my interest."
25: "I could break your other leg. That would liven things up."
21: "I'd prefer you didn't... Have any twos?"
25: "Go fish."
I'd also like to give a big "Happy birthday!" to Jenny-Jen!

Yep. This is it. This is exactly what has happened during the hiatus. 21 is currently winning 3178-1. Don't asking him about that 1. It'll make him very angry.
XDDD You know this is the BEST reaction to the hiatus I've seen so far. No angry messages, no 'where's my next chapter', just a broken-legged 21 playing cards with a psychopath. Thank you SO MUCH for the awesome pic and birthday wishes 
((For those of you asking, I was forced to put 9U on hiatus since I am currently getting a divorce, have moved houses/countries, started a career, & am settling into life as a single mom. Getting all this sorted trumps fanfiction.))

Jenny-Jen's family fell into hard times and had to move.
She got a job and started writing an original story.
So, she's been busy with life and working on her own things.
Which is nice, I'm glad she's working so hard to better her future.
Though, I'll admit, I do miss 9U quite a bit. ^w^;

I don't remember Colorado being humid much, but I lived in Canon City and Florence, so it might have something to do with it.

We moved to Louisiana, which is where I got back into '9.'
Although I didn't like it there, I created a lot of things, so I can't say it was the worst move.
We live in Oregon now, and so far it's a similar story, only, we live in a better house... ^w^;
