Description
I present my newest, and by-far, the least average stitchpunk in my jolly hoard, (not to mention the tallest!): Trouble! His design went through quite a bit before becoming this, but that was already taken care of in a previous picture: [link]
This is pretty much Trouble's final design. (Just a few minor details to tackle.)
Oh! Look! I drew some proper feet for this one! That's a step I end up missing.
(I don't know why, but the feet always get me... -_-lll )
Anyway, information time!
Name: Trouble
Nickname: "Over-sized freak" seems to crop up more times than not...
Gender: Male
Tag Line: To Name Us
Personality: Eccentric, Chivalrous, and Playful.
Trouble was actually the first of the named stitchpunks.
His creator wasn't sure of the size of stitchpunks, and ended up making Trouble 14 inches tall. (Which is about 4 inches taller than 8.) Trouble was made from an old baby blanket and a stuffed raven toy, both of which were very precious to Trouble's creator.
Because of this love for the raven toy, Trouble's head was converted to a bird shape, and a few pieces of the toy were made for more decorative purposes.
Trouble got himself rather lost in among the chaos of the panicked humans and rampaging machines.
This wasn't such a bad thing though, because he found a friend in this disaster: a small stitchpunk of the "unusual" variety, that had no name.
Together, Trouble and his little friend, who he named 'Contrary', traveled the Emptiness in search of other stitchpunks, and a good home to stay in.
Trouble is kind stitchpunk who enjoys playing games or having a friendly chat. He's usually favored by those of more childish personalities. (Like 3 and 4.)
Despite Trouble's soft and cuddly form, he is fairly strong and is good at strategy, especially against beasts.
He also tends to scare other stitchpunks that are not used to him. (1 in particular doesn't like Trouble.)
One day Trouble save Hollows from a beast (or at least he says he saved her. He tends to romanticize things.), and fell in love with her. "Love at first sight." he says.
Much to Hollows displeasure, she can't seem to get rid of Trouble for long before he finds her again.
She's resorted to sending him off on supply missions, usually for something that shouldn't exist in the ruined world. (So far, that plan isn't working very well.)
Materials: Body consists of an old, pastel yellow cotton, weaved blanket, and an unusual black-blue cotton fabric from a stuffed raven toy.
The left-side of the torso and right leg are made from the tail of the toy, while the hip's decorations are made from the wings and the white button eyes of said toy.
He wears a pastel pink ribbon around his neck. (Most assume it was a gift from either his creator or from Contrary.)
Fingers, wrist piece, and heels are made from a brass metal.
Arms, legs, optics, screws, nuts, and holed 'toe' brace are made from a silver metal.
Palms and "toes" are made from Russian olive wood.
Body stitches and arm ties are of a black crochet thread.
Leg and neck binding made from a brass colored wire.
Location of Name: "TROUBLE" written vertically down the outside of left leg.
In this picture: Teacup and Hollows make an appearance, along with a new stitchpunk named Contrary.
Wish to know more about these three?
