The nullification bubble erases anything that is: tech thats beyond the 2000s, sci fi, magic, or supernatural in it's path.When it devoured the Steve gang, all of their powers got erased, especially Marks!!! But unfortunately Steve, Bill, and Tim were bounded to magic and sci fi stuff so they got completely erased. That only leaves Mark as a lonely survivor ....

Mark has magic but his magic was SO DAMN PROTECTIVE, that when it was getting destroyed by dat bubble. The magic converted all of Mark's body into a normal body made of normal atoms and cells. When the magic gets destroyed, Mark lives, but only as a normal person made up of normal matter.
Steve, Bill, and Tims' bodies were TOO dependent on advanced tech/magic, and they can't get a second chance when the advanced tech/magic gets nullified.......
