Idea behind the comic(in case your confused): Duolingo is an app where a green owl, Duolingo, teaches you languages. But unfortunate, Duolingo is very strict about skipping classes. So people began to make (untrue)memes where Duolingo will murder you if you skip his classes.
This comic's plot COMPLETLY revolves around that meme, when Steve and Mark (the protagonists) accidently missed a class which caused them to be kidnapped by Duolingo, and the 2 need to find a way to ESCAPE!
