Bill: Aye guys... B) Bill here...!!! Now, Im gonna give ya all a crash course on how stuff kinda works here....!
You see, existence is comprised of many and many realities....... and each reality is it's own little world with multiverses in it...!

All realities that are a cartoon world ... like SpongeBob, Steven Universe, Homestar, and many more... all share one single property!
They are all connected and strung together in a massive structure known as the TOONIVERSE.!
Worlds that are live action and not animated... like MCU, Star Wars movies, and stuff... are just separate free realities which are NOT in the tooniverse....
Simple, just like that.

But here is a HUGE important thing you wanna remember....
The super steve world is ACTUALLY a live action world, with everyone and everything in it being live and live action...
It's just that our author draws us as cartoons because thats all he can draw :/ .... But still, we are actually live people, just drawn as cartoons and showed to you all.
But overall, our world is real live, and thus not part of the tooniverse.......................... but it is very close to the tooniverse since we have so many crossovers!

Here is a very interesting last thing! Whenever someone from the super steve world enters a world in the tooniverse...
They turn from a live person INTO a cartoon character...! (And they obviously turn from a cartoon back into a live person once they return!)
But when a cartoon character enters the super steve world, they STAY as cartoons. It's just that they become a bit more 3D and stuff, thats all!
