Given by his father before disappearing. It was a gift of protection for his son and family.

Before he began his journey, Astro grabbed a hoodie from his father’s old closet and tied it around his head as it was a charm of good luck.

.:ABOUT HIS ‘Missing’ FATHER:.
The story begins with our hybrid, Wolfstar Moon, who was finally corrupted by his family's curse and had to go into hiding to avoid hurting his family. Years past, and we are introduced to Astro Moon. The adventurous, curious 11-year-old hybrid (mix of canine, feline and fox), looking for his father, that mysteriously disappeared after his 4th birthday. His search came to an end when he was face to face by a ferocious demon with two shadowy arms peering out from behind its back. The demon seemed to call itself "Poison Heart" and recognized the grey locket tied around the boys' neck. Astro noticed his reaction and quickly theorized that he is Wolfstar Moon, his father. However, Poison doesn't remember his past, let alone having a son, and continues his lone-wolf lifestyle. After ditching the kid, Astro was still determined to convince Poison that he is his father and promised to always visit him every day until he does.

After days of persuading Poison, Astro was on his way back to Poisons’ but ran into trouble as he accidentally stepped over another demons’ territory and tries to apologize. However, the demon felt doubtful of his apology and seem interested in the necklace around Astro’s neck. When Astro refused to give it up, the demon became angry and began to attack him.
Poison eventually heard Astros cries and unexpectedly comes to the rescue.
On their way back to his place, Poison finally questioned how Astro is able to warp back and forth into the Realm of Misery. Only powerful beings have the ability to do so. Astro admits he stayed in the Realm and camped out around the area. He has the power to get into the Realm but doesn’t have the power to get out.

Guilt tripped, Poison gives up and let’s Astro stay with him until they find a way back into his dimension.
