The mighty scimitar wielding dark elf, himself. Drizzt Do'Urden.He's a great character and the books are a fun read. Not profound, just fun. Booya! They make him look so old on the covers of those books. He should be young! He's a YOUNG drow elf. Oh well. So that's my fanart of him.

That makes two of us (on how the covers are). Which was pretty much motivation for drawing the couple of drow pics that I have. I wanted to get him down the way I envisioned him.

I like the rough quality you added with the cross-hatching. I'd probably draw Drizzt in a somewhat smoother style, but I really like how your rendition of him turned out. Nice job!

Thanks. He was a fun character for me to draw considering that I hated the portrayal on the cover (the old cover). I think it stirred me to draw drizzt the way I envisioned him...yez.

I agree I thought he was a young adult andthey make him look ancient...What a nice pic though I love the shadowy effect it really adds to teh mystery
