I sorta caved into pixel art and made it my own refuge 'cause despite the fact that I love to draw, I always sucked at it. Anatomy is just a pain in the butt for me. Still, I always enjoy seeing people's tutorials, hoping I can maybe use some of their pro tips to improve my own skills.

This tutorial was very well; written, but when it came down to details like maybe how to know where to put highlights or shading the tourial seemed to expect the reader to understand it as they were a veteran.This is very helpful for those who are experienced in Paint SAI or drawing period,but not for those who really need a tutorial. Other than that awesome work!

You also start with a kind of base figure for the pose, right? It looks like your sketch looks like this from the start If you get what I mean. But anyway I think the part with coloring the picture in a brown or other town first is really useful. I also use the select tool but I do it step by step and then sometimes a part is missing still white or whatever the background color is and I have to color it seperately. It's so simple and I didn't have the idea for it xD I will definitely use it the next time.
