Think mine was $54 on ebay, was a VERY lucky find for me and I was able to convince my grandma to buy her for me for Christmas. Mine of course has rubs on her nose and shoulder but it's ruffian nonetheless and I'm happy that I got her

Yeah, she was out of box. 
It's the opposite for me, it's my parents that won't buy anything breyer related from ebay, but my grandma is largely involved with my love for horses. As a matter of fact she's the reason why I have such an obsession with them. I just got really lucky with Ruffian, I doubt I'll ever get that Lucky again

yeah, I don't get the purpose of jacking up the price just because they're new in box. Honestly the box is only worth like a few bucks I don't get the purpose of overpricing a model because it's in cardboard... I just looked and there is a Ruffian for $45 I think. Has some flaws though, of course it's hard to find one that isn't full of them.

I'm actually one of those people who would rather get one breyer new in box than two out of them. I just feel like somebody else has put they're hands on them, that it's already got a weird story behind it, besides I'm not one for flaws of any kind, lol, I'm picky.

Normally I am quite picky as well, when I got my Travis my dad was like 'lets gooooo' and I was like 'NO! This one has a chip out of its ear! Smeared markings! No I must find le PERFECT ponieh!' lol idek but when it comes to my holy grail models, I'm like 'who cares its the ponieh I wants it!'

lol, that's me, I stood there for like 7 minutes studying Sahrans' paint jobs xD and my Mom's going 'HURRY UP ALREADY!' lol Constelation is one holy grail that I would not pay for out of box, because they're only like $20 differences. Idk, I'm just not really for used...

Do you have a campbells, Boomgaars or Runnings around you? Normally they have the misstates exclusives from several years ago still there. I bought Constellation on sale for about $49 I think, it was a year after she'd been released as well. I got lucky there they had like three left I was so excited I didn't notice that she had some paint taken off of her leg but she was by far the best one there in terms of coloring.
