I don't think the head is too big. Try scanning it and putting it in your paint program. You can reshape the head to see how it looks with a slightly smaller head. Though you might have to get rid of the lines of the background paper. But in my opinion its not too big. Great piece!

thanks I was thinking about doing that but its just a doodle, but I might do that as a future project
