is it that easy to take an IR photo? do you need post editing? do you need a special lens, besides the filter i mean ?

Awesome black sky. Is it just the IR filter that does that or is it in combination with altitude? This happends with a cpl at altitude.

I once heard that ur not supposed to shoot IR if there are too much shadows or/and contrast in the photos. I thought that sounded wrong...as, isnt that what makes photos interresting quite oftenly?....the dhanges, strangeness and contrasts....

Amazing photo. I had a question. Have you sharpened this in Photoshop? Its just your Fstop is F5 and to my knowledge that would give you a shallow depth of field.
Just wondered because the image looks quite sharp.
Even if you have, the image is amazing.
