Description She was attacked by a vampire three nights previously.... and now...

I decided to attempt a dive into the vampire realm for a change, I've never attempted one in particular. For the record this isn't based on Twilight (sorry don't watch this one) or any other vampire show, novel, genre. Though I am a huge fan of the vampire This is quasi based off my concept of vampires that I am working on for a book (eventually).

Technical:

My last couple of pieces have been working with skin, skin tone, blemish removal... and in general working on creating a ethereal otherworldly skin base to work with. In this case I used the healing tool, fuzzy brushes, a bit of blur, clone, and a few other things to get the effect I wanted. I think I've got a handle on the technique now.

I also sculpted her eyes to be "cat like" and tried a slightly different tact on eye coloring than I've been doing... not to different just a slight modification. My attempt is to keep things "natural" looking (well as natural as a vampire looks in theory)...

This one I had her in mid-turning... I will be uploading another one with her fully turned, mainly as I wanted to see how she looked with the full effect

I have to thank the following stock account:

This is a really sexy piece. I love the smear in her makeup that indicates she is or has been crying over the transformation. Also how one eye still remains human and a tiny bit of her skintone remains really adds to the effect. Corruption like this is really hot. The fully turned pic is also really good

Thanks. I am thinking of doing a sequence out of this one and putting into a four panel image... I will be doing more of these, I have a full body one in process. I like the general freakiness of the look

would love to see that. I wish I had your talent with this as I have lots of corruption ideas

Well you can always share and I can try. I'm always up for a challenge or request as long as folks realize I do have a life It has taken me a couple of years to get to this point at the moment... but corruption is also a favorite theme of mine as well.

Heya! This one looks pretty good! You did a really good job cleaning up her pores blemishes and wrinkles (I mean no offense to the model here, in the case that ~DeadSoldier-stock happens to see this).

-First, I agree with ~honeynekochan that the background looks very good and creates that pop effect that makes the model stand out (in a good way). I would suggest making the stars a bit smaller, but that's just me personally.

-As for the blending you did... It looks great! My only suggestion is to try to make the fade softer and more gradual. The lines between turned and unturned seems rather quick - try to soften it a bit.

Otherwise, awesome work!
Dan

Thanks, I was going to try to replace the background but it was going to be fairly difficult than I'd normally expect... but I sort of liked the background as well so I didn't try to hard

Thanks again!

I like the background, the white specs above her and the purple contrast is good :3 just caught my eye XD

That is what I thought as well, what I was considering at the time was a darker background like a deeper purple or even black... to get more of a contrast but I think this worked out well leaving it as is.
