HOLY CRAPOLA!! I did that background?!
A while back I was inspired by but I never really got into drawing it untill requested I do a smutty drawing of Chief and Cortana. So I did it and I just couldn't find a pose for this at all, untill...I kept getting my ass kicked on Halo 3 playing the level "Cortana" and about three milleniums later when I finally got to rescuing Cortana, I started ranting to myself about how Cortana and Chief didn't seem all that happy to see each other. I mean fer cryin' out loud!!! Then it hit me!! I visioned this montrosity piece of smut
So I got to work and VIOLA!!! This is how Chief and Cortana really should have greeted each other!Anyhoo, Here you go Argent and Hibiscusgrl! I did this pic especailly for you two!! Man am I pooped *dies*

Not a big fan on the whole chief and cortana romance theory, I would think it would be cuter if in someway he found her the ability to take form as a human. I have this huge theory on how that would happen (but I won't get into that)
Despite all of that, I still think you did a lovely job on this picture. Just hope the Gravemind isn't trying to whisper sexual things in Chiefs ears, wanting some of that Spartan body action xD

Mark my words if she is scripted to go crazy and become an enemy that ends up dying or worse being killed by john in the Next Halo Trilogy games, then hells gate will open and the teeming legions of Pissed off Halo fans will cry out for the devs blood.
Because if what I fear comes to pass, then johnsons last wish to john to never let Cortana go, and all of the build-up that they put into putting some kind of relationship thats deeper than that of co-workers, will have all ammounted to nothing. it will pretty much be a giant middle finger to the halo fans.
Also have anyone of you noticed that lately, game developers are becoming more and more like assholes who just want to troll the players, rather than make good and satisfying games? and im not talking graphics wise, im talking about things like Plot/story and the like.

Actually there's an experpt from my Halo encyclopedia that he was very happy to see her and very emotional. But he hid it with his dry humor.
So they were happy, they just don't express it. ^^

I kept reading a lot of fanfics and just the way the relationship is between those two throughout the games, I found it hard to believe he wasn't emotional when he finally did see her.
