Description
So as stated in the title this is for the contest over at . The contest was to make a fake comic cover for Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. In all honesty this submission looks more like a movie poster. Though there were some complications, some things came up, and this project became a bit rushed. Still it was finished (mostly on time), may attempt it again one day when things aren't so busy.
The idea behind this was something I had attempted before. A LONG time ago I drew up a picture of Nny for Ryan. The point of the picture was to have Johnny surrounded by the things that could potentially keep him somewhat grounded (Devi, Squee, Nail Bunny) with all of them fading around him. Then I had the Doughboys and tentacles on the outer edges as the opposing forces/demons of the situation. I'm not really describing it right, I digress. I drew the sketch for Ryan and was planning on painting it for him but I ended up getting frustrated and quit. So when I was trying to figure out what to do for this contest I thought it would be fun to try and recreate the sketch. The pieces are all there, but like I said, may attempt it again one day
