~Dancer of Dreams~

“Wait for me, just ore that next golden hued rise
I shall nae leave ye thee alone much longer
For without you my soul cannot seem to fly.
Oh please wait for me, entice me to come earlier to thee
Let me see the very tips of your fingers as you pirouette
In perfect form, to the strings of a single violin played melodically
Leave me signs, so that I shall ner lose my way, a broken twig here
A print of toe shoes there, I shall hasten to my own symphonic tune
To see thee in all thy perfect glory as you dance with your love’s music in the air.
Oh what a horrific and dark foreboding path now I am left upon which to step
Alone, so alone, no one to smile from stage left as I balance high upon a partner’s arms
Posing there for that fraction of a perfect moment, as free as a bird, lost in the music’s depth.
Wait for me, oh sweetest dancer of dreams I swear that thou shall in but a moment of time
See me dressed in a matching costume so that ye shall know me, matching ye step for step
Dancing together again, on into eternity, past time.”
