Another pen and ink drawing I finished today. This is a 9x7 piece.If you're an Elvis fan, you'll understand the reference. "TCB Baby!"

Wow, I love the spiky-swirly thing you got going there. It's also cool how you incorporated recognizable features like hands, eyes, (I think that's a microphone, but I'm not sure

Thanks... Yes on the top middle area is a face with a pompadore hair like style. And yes, it's a hand and mic on the right. I decided to call it TCB because it's a reference to Elvis Presley's catch phrase TCB = "Taking Care of Business in Lighting Speed" which I added a lighting bolt at the top. Appreciate the comment!

Oh, neat! I guess you could say Elvis was before my time, but I do know that they called him "The King"!
I do like your style here though, how it fills the whole page. I'll have to try a full-page tribal sometime: I have only ever done single subjects on a blank background!

It's fun! And yes, Elvis was the king of Rock'n'Roll, Michael Jackson was the king of Pop, James Brown was the king of Soul, Chuck Berry the Godfather of Rock'n'Roll. So many rockers with titles, hard to keep up.

Hahaha No worries. Elvis had a saying whenever he conducted business, he would say to everyone "TCB, Lightning Bolt" which stood for "Taking Care of Business at lighting speed." Elvis wore a neckless of the logo. Here's a link of what it looked like. [link]
