Description
Anubis is a minor antagonist, based on the Egyptian Jackal god of the same name. His only appearance was in the 24th issue of the “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” comic line.

In regards to what I thought of the comic in general…

Brenda Hickey’s art was wonderful, and the flow of it was very well-done, but…personally, the overall story by Jeremy Whitley just wasn’t very interesting. It hardly aged well because it showed Discord to be a fan of “Ogres & Oubliettes” while the Cutie Mark Crusaders were still blank flanks, whereas his love for it really generated after he started spending time with Spike and Big Mac in Season 6’s “Dungeons & Discords”. On top of this, the new characters were hardly ones that I found to be memorable, and the only reason I’ve started to remember Anubis was simply because of how cool he looked in this picture I’m sharing.
