At the time I was waiting for "Spring Breakdown" to be released, I hyped myself up with the hope that it would perhaps be an improvement over "Rollercoaster of Friendship". Especially after seeing some of its trailers and sneak peeks, as well as reading about some things that could perhaps make it different than its predecessors.

Sadly, I didn't think "Spring Breakdown" was as great as I hoped it would be. There were things about it that I enjoyed, and I thought Confalone did a great job making the special an improvement in some ways. But, there were also some large detractors that dragged the episode down, such as Rainbow Dash's behavior throughout much of the special. Overall, I mainly consider "Spring Breakdown" to be passable at the most.
