I came across this picture while browsing, and it's nicely drawn. But I just can't care for the intimacy if I don't know anything about the characters. Would you mind giving them some background in your description box?

Wow, lovely. If I may ask, do you use any references? The postures and poses of the characters are so natural, so...right. Do you just whip this up straight from your head or do you need some kind of visual aid? I'm just wondering because I'm struggling with this myself.

I use references time after time when it's difficult pose or angle of view. but I never use ref of the whole picture, usually it's just some details.
