A protoype for a project I'm working on at the moment.
He's the Creaturekebab Mascot, CK... as a hand puppet! Made from fleece and felt (for the eyes/mouth).
I was told to work on some animations this semester, but I'm to spontaneous to just sit and animate frame by frame GAH!
I decided making a few puppets and illustrating my stories that way would be much more fun! That and the puppets look so cute just displayed on a shelf. 
You can't hug an animation.

I think that the most joyful moment of creating a puppet is when you put your hand in it and see it how it starts to live on it's own.

You should still try and do some animating though twain...otherwise they will just turn around at the end and say 'why didnt you try animating it'...believe me I know what crits are like.

wow! excellent! I have to say, having worked with fleece and felt recently, I much prefer them to fake fur - they fray less and can be handled either side, so kudos for using fleece on a hand puppet!

I was starting my own projects on photoshop, starting small with scenes of characters talking, moving bodies, etc. Then school ended, so I could no longer photoshop -__-

Kay, waiting for the vid to load. I'm sorry, I haven't heard anything about this release. I've been without TV for some time, and videos don't load very well on my comp. Yes the fall, and the release is dated for 9/9/09, lol. There IS a musical called "Nine" that's being released, it's by the guy who directed Chicago I think.
