Some of her background is actually based on a comic I read here a long time ago that i can't find anywhere. if it's worth something its about amy binding with a phantom ruby prototype...

More on her: mobian Maria is a better version of Shadow's concept, where her black arms dna was heavily altered, being this the reason why she doesn't look like Shadow or why neither Shadow nor Black Doom can sense her by their weird alien means. She has chaos habilities similar to Shadow's too, although less on the destructive side (chaos shield, chaos heal, chaos control), and also needs inhibitor rings to control her power.

The headband that human Maria wore was a mind transfering device that activates when the main host die, so the mobian Maria remembers being shot her mobian body was on a criogenic state when this happened, that's why she never made an appearance until shadow found her on a mission by mere coincidence. (comic maybe...???) Her attire is based on figure skating costumes, where her boots emit plasma blades powered by her chaos energy that allows her to skate similar to shadow's rocket shoes.

Maria is a sweet, caring girl, who wants to experience everything the earth has to offer, (and shadow pays for all of it). She is also friends with Amy and Tails, wich she shares common interests with. She feels dissapointed and sad about what her cousin Ivo has become, and has issues with shadow's gun collection.
