Description
The second in my series of Madballs art! This piece features Oculus Orbus as a swarm of giant alien invaders! I couldn't just draw some guy with an eyeball head, Oculus is different from the other Madballs in that he's unique because he's just an eyeball. This was the only thing that came to me that gave the concept integrity with the toy. I also didn't inject a lot of emotion into the creature to make it angry, etc. That's because the toy has an unblinking alien-ness that I wanted to stick close to. Thanks! Drew this creature straight from the actual toy in front of me. The vein pattern matches up and everything. I'd love to make a plastic mold of my nerve extension and snap the real Oculus into it.
