Haha, I wish.
My IB project is an acrylic series on societal pressures placed upon young children.
I just don't want to work on it right now ;; I just want to draw Jak thinggggssss.

Yes... sadly enough haha. I thought it would be a lovely idea to take Art HL.. man was I wrong on so many levels hahah
... bamboo create here. I was stuck between the bamboo and the intuos5. I heard the intuos5 was better but since it is my first tablet ever, i thought, start off simple then work my way up haha.
by the way I love Jak. He is my life and savior when I'm in Greece :l

Oh my. We're starting our first year of HL around here and I've got a couple of classmates in art doing it. Gotta feel for 'em, not everyone can handle that workload. I don't know if I can even handle the IB workload. ;;
I've always had a preference for the intous series, but to be honest, there's not much of a difference with tablets. I mean, it's going to draw regardless; the differences usually show up when various art programs are introduced. I have a couple of friends who make a nice income off art commissions who use the Bamboo series, so I'd suppose tablets mainly lie with one's druthers.
Oh, Greece? How lovely~

Well then let me be the first to officially welcome you to Hell (:
The IB is bloody rigorous. My whole class has senioritis by now hahaha. But in art, for me at least, it is not doing the art pieces that are killer, but keeping up with the journal. I HATE journaling hahaha so while everybody has like 80-100+ pages im still at a lovely 60 pages of.pure.bullshit.which is the epitome of the IB programme if you ask me hahaha (: hahah
yeh Greece, think what you want on it haha. But after two weeks it gets bloody boring hah

Yeesh, the journals always whip me around, though I don't believe my area's being graded so heavily on the IW's as much as the studio work. Who knows; the IB program's in a transition stage right now, so a lot of things are a bit skewed in the big picture.
I think the most pages we're going to end the year with is about 70-80; not quite as much as you've been tasked with. I'm pretty sure I have around 50 pages to date.
I'd take boring over the redneck hellhole I live in any day. I'm thinking of studying abroad in Greece or Spain next year actually..!

Ah, yeah my school has been IB since forever. It is like in preschool you are in PYP, then middle school through 10th you are in MYP, then 11th and 12th you are in IB. It sucks ): haha
But yeah, a lot of my friends at other schools say the same thing the journal not being a huge deal, while at my school they make it sound like HL revolves around it.. even though I chose option A: more focused on the studio work than the book work. Also my 60 pages are a grand total of everything ive done in 11th grade and from what ive done so far in 12th hahah... which is near nothing hahah woops.
I don't live in Greece haha, I am a city gal. I just have family in Greece and go there every summer for like two months. But I did do an exchange trip the summer of 9th grade and the summer of 10th grade to Spain. So.Much.Fun.Do.It.
