oooh, very nice! I've always had a soft spot for Fallen Leaves ; you did a wonderful job portraying this emotional scene, which I don't think we ever got to see in the books!!
I love all the thought that went into this–—like the leaf marking, how the tunnels are still dripping with water from the rage of the flash flood, the line at the corner of Rock's mouth as he frowns deeply, Fallen Leaves only able to blankly stare at the ground in utter shock, and how his falling tear blends in with the falling droplets of the cavern. . . he is becoming one with the place already! o-o,

also——oh my! it took a bit for me to notice the paw in the corner :0!!
that certainly adds even more to the scene, and I think you made a good choice in having just a subtle orange paw in the corner to give additional somber weight rather than having anything more intense ^^. Aligns to the powerful theme I (personally) see as the focus here: the tragedy/concern being not that he simply died, but the failure he feels, & future that now faces Fallen Leaves.

I don't know why I read these books sometimes. I love cats, and I love the characters. I really get attached....poor Fallen Leaves. It's why I draw "alternate universe" pictures for Warriors. I don't want to accept the things that happen sometimes.
Like how you did this scene though. Love that bit of sorrow in Rock's eyes. He feels bad about it too.

I felt sorry for Fallen Leaves in Dark River. He didn't deserve it. But, great job on the detailed drawing, really brings out the emotion of the scene
