Long ago, Mirri the witch lied about the death of Daenerys' son since she often pulled this trick on women in order to sell their children to The Black Market where they would later be sold to richer families. If only Daenerys had questioned why two blood sacrifices needed to be made for one life; why did her son need to die when Drogo's horse had already been the sacrifice? Maybe then she would have still had her son. Where is little Rogo Targaryen now? Does he know who he is? Actually the child died because Mirri already used the child as the real sacrifice and Drogo's horse was just a ploy to trick Dany. And also his horse symbolized his status as the Khal so it was just another thing she took from him since he took everything from her I think.

Well my logic is that we don't need to see the corpse to know someone is deceased but it's not my story so I'll follow your logic since your logic also has some things that do make sense.
