YOU LOSE!This was my piece that I did for the Street Fighter Tribute contest that the guys at Udon were having. They received 1300+ entries and chose 163 of them to be included in the official Street Fighter Tribute book thats coming out this summer. Congratulations to all that won.
Download for a 1700x2200 version (half the full size) if you like.
All done using the standard circle brush in GIMP. Quite a few hours I must say... quite.

Hahaha! Yeah I thought the same at one point way after I'd put in too much time into it already. It was supposed to be his fierce roundhouse from SF3 and SSF2... which is more of a gut kick I guess. And Ryu is raising his leg to block. But yeah, ouch.

There was no exploited vagina shots in my piece. Haha, oh I know its not true but there sure seem to be a lot of them, including the cover that doesn't even sport THE Street Fighter himself. Thanks!

Thanks a lot. Yeah, I've seen some things on here though that make my art look like crayon scratch. I know its not but I know I've still got room for improvement. But I don't plan on quitting anytime soon so maybe someday I'll be among the elites. Haha. Thanks a lot.

HOLY CRAP! In all seriousness, I don't see how this piece wasn't selected. This is by far the BEST one I've seen so far that didn't make it. My only gripe is Ken's face, but even that looks good to me. I'm actually sad this one didn't make it in!
