Commission for .IΒ΄m quite proud of its mane, it looks like fire/gold somehow
. And the pose is another point IΒ΄m loving of this picture. What do you think?I used colored pencils, watercolors and prismacolor colored pencils for this one (yay, those prismacolors work really well).

Thanks :9. It is my usual technique, maybe the touch of prismacolor colored pencils made it look better, I donΒ΄t know. But otherwise, it is the same.

regular ballpoint pens? do they work good?

I use Rotring ballpoint, 0.4 mms, but I donΒ΄t know if they are sold in the US. Anyway, they do good results, and are waterproof, which is very useful for me, because I use to color with watercolor pencils.

You know that mane does look pretty wicked, sunsetish brown it seems. I think the whole composure is rather nice, from the set of the clawed feet to the prideful tilt of his head. Its definitely something great
