When gods don´t matter as much as beliefs, when the abstract beats the individual, an oracle rises.When the love for life defeats death itself, an oracle of life rises.
That is all on the story of this character, Iris Ildanor. An aasimar born within the energy source of powerful positive energy channeling. The death of her mother gave raise to a child imbued with the most pure forces of the positive energy plane: never tired, never weak, never down. She serves as a natural channel to protect and heal the living.
Iris is my character in the Pathfinder setting "Carrion Crown".

Life oracles put a serious crimp in the undead.
"Here, let me become a life elemental and hug you. I'm sorry, did that hurt?" Or Channeling energy. Or... well, pretty much everything.

True. My favourite thing to do while playing Iris was moving around the battlefield while in life elemental form, when fighting the undead, causing opportunity attacks whenever I could. Our Narrator hated that XD

I had a samsaran life oracle who stated simply that he was a natural conduit of life energy. He was a lot of fun to play.
I wish there had been feats or something to take that increased how long you could be in life elemental form. That would be great.

Tongues. Whenever she gets nervous or excited she starts talking in Celestial (to match her aasimar heritague) and sometimes Auran. All the party had to learn the languaje in order to fight by her side.

I see. Tongues is at least a manageable curse. I'm playing a tiefling oracle with the Blackened Curse, which makes him really poor in combat (-4 to weapon attack rolls in exchange for some fire spells added to his spells known).

Yes, it is not the worse curse, and can be solved by the other players learning the tongue that acurses the character. Blackened is far worse, but if recall it right, it has some cool collateral effects as levels progress.

No se si es porque los FX no dejan ver bien su mano derecha, pero la pose se ve un pelín incómoda, por lo demás es un dibujo precioso.
