Yes. I have no problem with recolors as the blindbag ponies, and a number of the brushables are recolors. You'll also find that a number of the background ponies are recolors of each other.

Yes true, myself when I make an OC I want them to have their own appearance. The character isn't their own if simply a recolor in my opinion.

I don't know the fans seem to have been able to give Sea Swirl and Minuette different personalities and thus, different characters despite being recolors of one another.

In fact it seems odd that you complaing about pony designs that would never be seen in the show and also about pony designs that are far far more likely to make an appearence in the show.

So, Neon Boom is bad because she doesn't look like she'd fit in the show, And recolors are bad because they're "not unique characters"?

Seriously have you thought this line of reasoning through?

Look, Creshosk I wasn't even attacking it and said it was cute. I was in this cause only gibing my options on making OCs.
There is no need to get defensive, I do not have nearly as much of a problem with recolors I just consider it a bit lazy.

Okay sorry. I've just been dealing with a lot of negativity in the fandom since I joined. This one isn't even my pony, and the owner of this OC has never drawn her.

Actually the only criticism I would give is that white on white makes the character a bit hard to see, it's a bit distracting... it also makes me think of Fluttershy as a ghost or covered in flower. -laughs-

It's also a small problem with other OCs that are just one color is that the mane/tail and coat blend together.

Yeah. I actually didn't design her, and she's not so much of "white on white" as she is white on opalecent. The rainbow coloring in her coat is really subtle but can be seen if you look at your monitor at different angles. I imagine that the hairs in her coat are slightly hollow and so the light refracts as it passes through.
